Things have been coming along swimingly but I just noticed that the WRC has released their own, official, FREE iPhone app in the past couple days.

Mildly irked.

Very excited to have the coverage on my iPhone, less excited to have the door on a possible source of income suddenly slammed shut.

Or maybe not. World Rally stages take place over several dozen kilometers with fans lining most of those stages snapping photos and video. My app is evolving into a social WRC dashboard, fed by a few official stats, but otherwise composed of fan content.

Still worth $.99? Hope so.
